Charlie & Trevor Weekend

So last weekend we had our special pre-mission visit from Charlie & Trevor. Charlie is going to New Mexico and Trevor to Honduras. We had a great time with the guys. They wore out Mariah's Magic Date Ball and I'm sure they got answers to many important questions above and beyond who got to sleep in the room with the drum set and who had to sleep in the room Charlie dubbed the Tranquil Turquoise room (which by rule of the Magic Date Ball he won!). They also spent many an hour on the Wii with Boogie Superstar and wow, were they ever stars! Especially in Mariah's eyes! She kicked their heinys at Mario Kart while Indy was at work, but Gib returned home from his 20 mile hike and re-tipped the scales in the manly department and saved the boys from too many more hours of Boogie Superstar or Date Ball torture. Then Indy saved them all and took 'em bowling. The guys brought some sticks and rings and they played some ancient toss the doohickey and trim the shrubbery while you're at it game. That was fun. Dinner was served. Then I waxed the table, slicked down the chairs and we played Spoons that night. Got a few photos of the evening. There's a little video that Mariah and Charlie took of the Spoons game on my facebook page if you haven't seen it already. Oh yeah, and Gib shaved his head for Philmont. That's about it.

Trevor, Indy, Charlie

I hated Trevor's stupid hat. He likes it 'cause the cow has horns and udders. And it's asleep. And it's huge compared to the barn. And it has a secret compartment for drugs or pass along cards. The list is endless why it's hideous and why he loves it. I wish he brought his 5' trout pillow like last time instead.



They left us and went on to visit the other 5 GIRLS they met and maintained friendships from EFYs. Hey can they help it if all the guys are already on their missions?! Players!!! Haha. I thought that was sooo funny.
