Catchup - Calcific Tendonitis

Just before I left on my business trip earlier this month, Chrissie started feeling some pain in her shoulder. She thought she might have just pulled a muscle and that it would work itself out. But, it steadily got worse until she had pain all the time, couldn't use it and had a difficult time sleeping. So off to the bone & joint clinic where they took xrays and diagnosed calcific tendonitis. They scheduled an MRI for later which validated the diagnosis. She has had one cortisone shot and numerous darvosets to date, but seems to be ok now. They will monitor and if it flares up again, may resort to surgery.
