I Actually Have My Computer To Myself!

Wow - lately, every time I come to my computer, either Gib or Mariah is on it. Sometimes, even Mike! So it's been very difficult to blog or even read my emails. Yesterday, it was so bad, that as I was madly mopping in the 8 minutes I had left until the last possible second to leave with Mariah and not get her to school tardy, Mariah was yelling out the names of the senders and I would say read it or skip it as I mopped! Well, that's a first, lemme tell ya.

So here's my new thing. I am now getting up an hour earlier to squeeze in a few household chores. I decided I simply cannot keep up with the house, laundry and work - not to mention cooking, groceries, the dr appts, my measly two walks in a week, and a bazillion other things that would be too tedious to mention unless I made a change. The only thing that drags me out of bed is knowing I can have a little chat with Taryn, watch Indy breeze by, and spend 15 minutes with Gib before he leaves for the bus stop. Otherwise, I'd say the mopping can wait. But it gets real bad real fast that way! The saddest part is my bedtime is around 9 or 10 now. That is SO not me. Well, you do what you gotta do! The girls have been enjoying the side benefit of hot apple cider and hot cocoa ready to go to drink on the way to Seminary.

Mike and I are currently listening to some really great music. Indy met the lead singer/guitar guy. He gave her one of their CD's. Seriously, I would buy it and I don't buy music. If anyone is interested, nag her for the info! I've probably spilled enough.

Oh, speaking of that! You'd think I would totally know better, but I accidentally spilled the beans today about a coworkers pregnancy. Oops. I've known for 6 weeks, she's 3 months along now, it's been on her Facebook since the very beginning, and she's totally showing, but apparently hasn't shared with any of the inquisitive moms of her students. Yeah, she might want to do that real soon. I was subbing while she went in for the ultrasound and when a couple mom's asked why she wasn't there I said a little too much. I seriously thought it was common knowledge. There was so much heavy stuff going on this week that I didn't dare confess. I feel terrible that I didn't but I knew if I did she'd burst into tears and I chickened out. Me and my big mouth. I'm such a direct and blunt person that I sometimes have a hard time with diplomacy.

Well, I have to go make adjustments to my Fantasy Football team so my bench can score more points than my roster like the last two weeks. It was so much fun then, I figure, hey why not again?! Well, not really, I'm out for vengeance now.

http://www.calecker.com/ click on the upper left corner play triangle thingy. he writes, sings, and plays all his music.

He did the classic name & number on a napkin and slipped it to Indy on his way out of the restaurant.

Haha, I totally skimmed and read that he plays the triangle! That would be one hardcore rocker!

Oh the cheesy napkin thing, haha.

Bummer about spilling the beans. I am the worst at that, but I am getting a ton better. Heck no one even knows that... Oh wait. I can't say :)

I need to either stay up an hour later or get up an hour earlier right now... You are rockin' it! And do not sweat the 'oops' if it wasn't you it probably would have been someone else... ;)
